Ray’s Fantasy Football Notebook 2012: Week 4 Preview

{Current Mood: Dizzy... by the way... that pic? Story of my life}

Pardon Me,

But it’s time to preview some Week 4 Phantasio Football Matchups.

Hopefully everybody got a kick out of my Angry Week 3 Results blog from the other day. I don’t have a whole lot else to say outside of that before we begin.

Well I have one thing to say. I no longer believe in jinxing myself. No matter what I say, do, think, or feel, it won’t change the fact that I’m either going to continue to suffer through terrible karma as it relates to this little hobby or that it’s all going to start swinging in my favor eventually.

So let’s go.

1) MONTOYA’S LEAGUE (12 teams, non-PPR, 2 QB, 3 Flex) (The Dayman) (3-0) (1st place in Division 2) (1st place overall) (1st in total points)

-No more predicting scores. It’s too tedious to think about.

-Gotta love being the only person to put in a waiver claim in this league when I’m in first place. #MoreReasonsWhyILoveThisLeague. Coby Fleener had been dumped in favor of Tashard Choice who would’ve cracked the starting lineup as a flex player in the wake of CJ Spiller’s injury had Fred Jackson decided to be smart and wait another week before attempting to come back (but NOOOOO, FJAX had to be a dickus and come back too early, ruining my plans to start Choice in the three leagues I picked him up in). But about an hour before I posted this blog, I was skimming the free agents and saw that Jerome Simpson, Ramses Barden, and Bilal Powell were all still available. Choice and Brian Hartline were dumped in favor of Powell and Simpson. As a Giants fan, it was tough to pass on Barden but I feel Simpson has more upside at the moment because he’ll be starting right away in an offense that’s been playing better than expected and has a good amount of weapons whereas Barden has to wait for an injury to either Cruz or Nicks to continue to be relevant (although the Giants have proven in the past that they can put up good enough offensive numbers to support three fantasy-relevant WRs).

-The Dayman – Week 4 Roster-

QB- Matt Ryan
QB- Jake Locker (I hate the matchup against Houston but it’s either him or Tebow and Tebow hasn’t done anything yet…which is bad because Matt Ryan is on bye next week and the only free agent QBs at the moment that are starters are Brandon Weeden and Ryan Tannehill. Tebow either needs to be starting by next week or score a rushing TD or two when I put him in)
RB- LeSean McCoy
RB- Jamaal Charles (Welcome back to the starting lineup, buddy…don’t disappear again)
WR- Victor Cruz
WR- Lance Moore (Losing both Wallace and Wayne to the bye week hurts quite a lotta bit but Lance is the best healthy WR on the Saints at the current moment)
TE- Martellus Bennett
K- Rob Bironas
DEF- Cardinals
RB/WR Flex- RB Michael Bush (even if Forte plays, I'm hoping Bush should be good for a vultured TD or two)
WR/TE Flex- TE Kyle Rudolph
RB/WR/TE Flex – TE Dennis Pitta (0 points) (Thanks for the g00se egg, guy…you’re lucky as piss I’m doing so well in this league otherwise we’d have some issues)

Bench- QB Tim Tebow
Bench- RB CJ Spiller
Bench- RB Jacquizz Rodgers
Bench- RB Bilal Powell
Bench- RB Donald Brown
Bench- WR Mike Wallace
Bench- WR Reggie Wayne
Bench- WR Jerome Simpson

-My opponents for this week are The Watchmen who are currently in third in our division at 2-1 (having just been knocked from the ranks of the unbeaten last week), in sixth overall, and in fourth in total points. Needless to say, my streak of playing against teams that are going to leave inactive players in their starting lineups should be coming to a swift end this week.

-The Watchmen– Week 4 Roster-

QB- Philip Rivers (Round 6)
QB- Sam Bradford (Round 10)
RB- Ray Rice (Round 1 – 4th overall pick) (9.60 points)
RB- BenJarvus Green-Ellis (Round 7)
WR- Roddy White (Round 3)
WR- Demaryius Thomas (Round 4)
TE- Jimmy Graham (Round 2)
K- Nate Kaeding (Round 20)
DEF- Packers (Round 11)
RB/WR Flex- WR Percy Harvin (Round 5)
WR/TE Flex- WR Denarius Moore (Round 9)
RB/WR/TE Flex – RB DeAngelo Williams (Round 8)

Bench- RB Ben Tate (Round 13)
Bench- RB Evan Royster (Round 14)
Bench- RB Montario Hardesty (Round 16) (0 points)
Bench- RB Robert Turbin (Round 17)
Bench- RB Andre Brown (Free Agent)
Bench- WR Santana Moss (Round 15)
Bench- WR Brian Quick (Round 18)
Bench- K Garrett Hartley (Round 12)

-He had drafted, and subsequently dropped: WR Jacoby Ford in Round 19

-This is easily the best team I’ve faced so far in this league. But just because I beat up on three teams that are entering Week 4 in seventh, tenth, and last place and have a current combined record of 2-7 doesn’t mean anything because I lead the league in total points with 517.46 and am 74.10 points in front of the next guy. That being said, I feel a lot of my players are due for let down games. Locker is playing the Texans, two of my top three WRs are on bye, Bennett won’t be able to keep up his TD-per-game pace, and Pitta got me a g00se egg. Bad Omen Alert: The Watchmen put up the low score for Week 3 and got 6.60 points combined from Rivers and Bradford. And if I were controlling this team, I’d find a place for Andre Brown somewhere in my starting lineup. Either way, he’s got enough good players to make this interesting. But there’s currently two 3-0 teams and I want to be the last of the unbeaten squads. It’s not like I have a whole lot else to hang my hat on so far this season.

2) BALLBUSTERS (12 teams) (Sizzlers) (1-2) (3rd in “Death Division”) (7th place overall) (1st in total points)

-Ray Rice’s 12 points last night gave us the most total points going into the weekend at 289. And we’re 1-2 and in seventh place and third in our own division. This is some baby-back-bullshit. Having 292 points scored against you will do that. Anywayz, due to necessity, a few changes needed to be made to our roster. We lost out on Arizona’s defense as the Excitable Boys, currently 0-3, grabbed them off waivers. Not that it should matter a lot because the Giants should be good for a few sacks and/or turnovers per game and are overdue to score a defensive TD. The walking injury, Austin Collie, has been replaced by Jerome Simpson. And, after they both cleared waivers, Ramses Barden and Bilal Powell were added in favor of Dexter McCluster and Coby Fleener. We should be fine at TE with Olsen and Rudolph in a league where you don’t even have to start one.

-Sizzlers – Week 4 Roster-

QB- Peyton Manning
RB- Ray Rice (12 points)
WR- Hakeem Nicks
WR- Miles Austin
TE- Kyle Rudolph (I am NOT making the mistake of benching you again this week being that Detroit has nobody that can cover you)
Flex- RB Ryan Mathews
K- Robbie Gould (I saw you single-handedly win a game for The Joan last year on a Monday night. If it comes down to that for me, you best not let me down)
DEF- Giants

Bench- QB Jake Locker
Bench- RB CJ Spiller
Bench- RB Donald Brown
Bench- RB Bilal Powell
Bench- WR Lance Moore
Bench- WR Jerome Simpson
Bench- WR Ramses Barden
Bench- TE Greg Olsen

-Our opponent for this week is “Really Hot Stuff” who is run by our league commissioner, Skippy.

-Really Hot Stuff – Week 4 Roster-

QB- Matt Schaub (Round 7)
RB- Darren McFadden (Round 1 – 5th overall pick)
WR- Andre Johnson (Round 2)
WR- Jeremy Maclin (Round 4)
TE- Jimmy Graham (Round 6 – Keeper)
Flex- TE Owen Daniels (Round 13)
K- Nate Kaeding (Round 14)
DEF- Texans (Round 11)

Bench- QB Alex Smith (Round 12)
Bench- RB Steven Jackson (Round 3)
Bench- RB Cedric Benson (Round 9)
Bench- WR Anquan Boldin (Round 5) (16 points) (Thank you dear lord Baby Jeebus)
Bench- WR Santonio Holmes (Round 8)
Bench- WR Donald Jones (Free Agent)
Bench- WR Brian Hartline (Free Agent)
Bench- TE Heath Miller (Free Agent)

-Skippy had drafted and subsequently dropped: WR Randall Cobb in Round 10, RB Alex Green in Round 15, & WR Brian Quick in Round 16

-More Bad Omens: Skippy is in sixth place overall as the current worst of the five teams with a 2-1 record (His son Scott, who beat us with the weekly high score of 99 last week, is the only 3-0 team left), he’s 2-1 despite being tenth overall in total points scored with 222, CBS currently has us winning 104-103 (I hate when I’m predicted to win), he left a 16-point player (Quan) on his bench, & he’s one of the guys in the league that usually gets ragged on for making bad draft picks and always finishing near the bottom of the standings (at least since I’ve been in the league). These are all reasons why we should win this game but probably won’t. It always seems to happen that way for me. All I know is we can’t afford to lose this game (especially if we lose it on our bench) and drop to 1-3. Our current division leader, and the only 3-0 team left, is currently losing 30-8 after getting eight from the Ravens defense and zero from Dennis Pitta while his opponent got 30 points from Trent Richardson and Torrey Smith. A loss for him and/or the Lawyer Man (2-1) and a win for the Sizzlers would put us right back in the thick of this thing. A loss, especially to Skippy who is considered to be arguably the biggest ballbuster of all in this league, wouldn’t be a kiss of death but it would certainly be close to it…especially if the Lawyer Man and Scott both win. I hate having a must-win game in Week 4…unless, of course, I win it.

3) CONVICKS (10 teams) (This Guy) (1-2) (8th place overall) (8th in total points)

-Gotta love being 98.02 points behind the team that’s the current league leader in that category. #FuckMyLifeLikeForSerious

-Some changes to zee roster: Coby Fleener and the Bills defense are gone and have been replaced by the Cardinals defense (with a nice slate of favorable matchups on paper coming up) and Heath Miller (it's hard to ignore 4 TDs in three games). I also swapped Alshon Jeffery for Jeremy Kerley after he cleared waivers. And late last night, I decided that the Mark Ingram experiment is over and I dumped him for Bilal Powell.

-This Guy – Week 4 Roster –

QB- Michael Vick (Not that I want to see my Giants get lit up but Goddammit, you dog killing fuck, I need you to do SOMETHING this week to save my sanity because I'm pretty sure Locker ain't doin ish against Houston)
RB- Ryan Mathews
RB- Doug Martin
WR- Julio Jones
WR- Greg Jennings
WR- Marques Colston
TE- Kyle Rudolph
K- Rob Bironas
DEF- Cardinals

Bench- QB Jake Locker
Bench- RB CJ Spiller
Bench- RB Donald Brown
Bench- RB Bilal Powell
Bench- WR Jeremy Maclin
Bench- WR Jeremy Kerley
Bench- TE Heath Miller

-My opponents for this week are The Black Horaces. My buddy Dave and his father, AKA The Hurricanes of the CCAFFL, own this team. They were the recipients of the league title in 2009 that Derrick Mason ripped out of my hands and gift wrapped for them when he dropped a wide open TD in the end zone in our championship game. Last year, Jamaal Charles’ injury was a huge reason why they finished in dead last and received the first overall selection in our draft. A roster devoid of a lot to choose from as far as keepers did have one gem as the Daves used their 16th round pick to protect the undrafted DeMarco Murray. They started the season 1-2 with losses to Password Is Taco (The Joan of Pond Scum Sports fame) and Turner's Money Exchange (Daniel of Pond Scum Sports fame) in Weeks 1 & 3 respectively with a victory in Week 2 over the Dirty Socks (currently in second place). Dave and I own two of the six teams in this league with 1-2 records but, due to having the most total points out of those six teams, the Horaces currently reside in fifth place while This Guy is sitting in eighth.

-The Black Horaces – Week 4 Roster –

QB- Philip Rivers (Round 2)
RB- Arian Foster (Round 1 – 1st Overall Pick)
RB- DeMarco Murray (Round 16 - Keeper)
WR- Hakeem Nicks (Round 3)
WR- Eric Decker (Round 5)
WR- Dez Bryant (Round 4)
TE- Owen Daniels (Free Agent)
K- Mason Crosby (Round 12)
DEF- Texans (Round 10)

Bench- QB Matt Schaub (Round 14)
Bench- RB Michael Turner (Round 6)
Bench- RB Ben Tate (Round 15) (Dave got some fantastic late-round value picks with Schaub and Tate in the 14th and 15th rounds, respectively)
Bench- WR Nate Washington (Round 8)
Bench- WR James Jones (Free Agent)
Bench- WR Darrius Heyward-Bey (Round 11)
Bench- TE Aaron Hernandez (Round 7)

-He had drafted and since released: WR Brian Quick in Round 9 and WR Austin Collie in Round 13. Losing Collie hurts but Dave, a fan of the Colts and the Florida Gators, did manage to fulfill his three criteria for the draft: he got a Colts player (Collie), a Gator (Hernandez), and someone who’s catching passes from Peyton Manning (Decker).

-I've known Dave since we were both babies. Growing up, I was never able to beat him at anything. I may have scored a few fantasy football wins over him here and there and finished higher than him in the standings in some years (either here or in the CCAFFL), but if there was ever a time that I needed to shake that monkey from my back and beat Dave at something in a high-pressure situation, I believe this would qualify. My team is due to have that monstrous breakout performance I've been waiting to see from them all season. His team is slowly but surely losing players to the injury bug. Something has to go my way eventually... right?

-Also worth noting: PSS’s Daniel and the 2-1, third place Turner’s Money Exchange (second in total points) is going up against the 1-2, ninth place Silver Bullets (ninth in total points) while PSS’s The Joan and the 2-1, fourth place Password Is Taco (fifth in total points) is going up against the 2-1, second place Dirty Socks (first in total points). There’s no score in the TMX-Bullets game but The Joan is currently winning her battle by the score of 32.40 (from Trent Richardson and the Ravens defense) to 21.70 (from Torrey Smith).

4) KIRBY’S ALL STARS (12 teams) (Powdered Toast Man) (1-2) (2nd in Kel Division) (7th place overall) (2nd in total points)

-Gotta love when the team in second overall and first in your division is eighth in total points while you’re currently sitting in seventh place and out of a playoff spot while you’re second in total points and one of only two teams to break 400 on the young season (I’m currently at 411 and the league leader is at 433). Having 428 points scored against you, which currently leads the league by six, doesn’t help matters. #ForTheLoveOfJeebusHaroldChristSomebodyCutMeABreakPlease

-Some roster changes: Not only did I miss out on Arizona’s defense, but my opponent for this week got them off waivers. This upsets me greatly. At least I was able to dump Silent Bob for Tashard Choice. Much like drafting Ronnie Brown as a handcuff to Mathews to start in Week 1, having to rely on Tashard Choice makes me sad on the inside and the outside. But I’m praying that he does enough to make the pickup worth it. Unlike Silent Bob, he’s at least (hopefully) going to touch the ball. Now I just hope he doesn’t get me negative points.  And I’m going with the Bengals defense against Blaine Gabbert and his butt-muscle injury. Also, late last night, I dropped Kevin Ogletree and Brian Hartline for Ramses Barden and Jerome Simpson.

-Powdered Toast Man - Week 4 Roster-

QB- Matthew Stafford (Your butt muscle injury better not cause you to play like hot, steamy horse shit. You’re due for a monstrous game and I desperately need a win)
RB- Ryan Mathews
RB- Tashard Choice (#DiesALittleOnTheInside)
WR- Calvin Johnson
WR- Hakeem Nicks
WR- Demaryius Thomas
TE- Kyle Rudolph
Flex- TE Jermaine Gresham (Why the hell not? I’d rather take the chance on him having another decent game. If Meachem has a better game than Gresham, I won’t feel nearly as bad... unless, of course, it costs me a victory)
K- Rob Bironas
DEF- Bengals

Bench- QB Tony Romo
Bench- RB CJ Spiller
Bench- RB Donald Brown
Bench- WR Robert Meachem
Bench- WR Jerome Simpson
Bench- WR Ramses Barden

-From my Week 3 Results entry: “This week, I draw Spike’s Doghouse, the 11th place team (1-2 and currently last in total points) that just won their first game despite having the inactive Ahmad Bradshaw in their starting lineup with other options available. Just like with Vinnie last week, just because I may predict myself to win DOES NOT MEAN that I’m taking this team lightly or refusing to acknowledge that this is another trap game. I thought I made that perfectly clear last week but I still wound up taking a nice bullshit bath.”

-Spikes Doghouse – Week 4 Roster-

QB- Ryan Fitzpatrick (Round 12)
RB- Darren McFadden (Round 1 – 8th overall pick)
RB- DeAngelo Williams (Round 8)
WR- Marques Colston (Round 3)
WR- Vincent Jackson (Round 6)
WR- Danny Amendola (Round 10)
TE- Fred Davis (Round 5)
Flex- WR Wes Welker (Round 2)
K- Nate Kaeding (Round 13)
DEF- Cardinals (Free Agent)

Bench- QB Ben Roethlisberger (Round 14) (Keeper)
Bench- RB Ahmad Bradshaw (Round 4)
Bench- RB Alfred Morris (Free Agent)
Bench- WR Davone Bess (Round 9)
Bench- TE Scott Chandler (Free Agent)
Bench- DEF Steelers (Free Agent)

-He had drafted and since released: WR Darrius Heyward-Bey in Round 7, RB Kendall Hunter in Round 11, the Packers defense in Round 15, & Isaiah Pead in Round 16.

-This roster isn’t too bad although I’m trying to figure out why DeAngelo Williams is starting over Alfred Morris. Regardless, I’m in a must-win situation even though this can probably be considered a trap game (AKA Ray’s Achilles Heel in all leagues always). I’ve gotten huge weeks out of Calvin, Nicks, and Rudolph in losing efforts over the past two weeks. It’s time for players like Stafford and Mathews to have their breakout games and lead me to a victory. The only thing that worries me is having to start Tashard Choice as my second RB. If anything is going to cost me in this matchup, this is probably it. But again, something has to go my way eventually... right?

-Also worth noting: PSS’s Daniel and the 1-2, eighth place Dragon Zord (third in the Kel division, seventh in total points with 370) is going up against the 2-1, fifth place unnamed team that belongs to our friend Kim (fourth in the Kenan division, sixth in total points with 371) while PSS’s The Joan and the 1-2, ninth place Cowabunga Batman (sixth in the Kenan division, ninth in total points) is going up against the 1-1-1, sixth place Quailmen (fifth in the Kenan division, fifth in total points). Dan is currently beating Kim by the score of 37 (from Ray Rice, Torrey Smith, and Dennis Pitta’s g00se egg) to 12 (from the Ravens defense) while The Joan is currently winning her battle by the score of 25 (from Joe Flacco) to 0. I should also point out that she was torn as to whether or not to start Flacco or Cam Newton. I was the only person that was asked who said Cam. But thanks to common sense, popular vote, and Austin Lee of Pro Football Focus who responded to my inquiry on Twatter on who to start in the situation, she went with Flacco. At least someone else benefited from my mistake by not listening to me. I consider this another bad omen. But maybe it’s good that I got this bad omen out of the way early. Maybe it’ll open up an opportunity for some good omens to start peeking their way into my life (but probably not).

5) CCFFL (14 teams, points league w/ head to head games) (The Houston Oilers) (2-1) (1st in the AFC) (2nd place overall)

-First of all I must point out that I’ve been referring to this league by the wrong name since I joined it in 2004. I always refer to it as either the “big money” league or the PA league but it’s actually the CCFFL (Chester County Fantasy Football League) instead of the CCAFFL. Perhaps that's what’s been holding me back and now that I’ve realized the error of my ways, maybe the karma will finally shift in my favor on a more consistent basis (but probably not). Why I thought there was an ‘A’ in the league name, I’ll never know.

-Just because I jumped back into contention with a strong Week 3 doesn’t mean that I’m satisfied with my roster. Ineffectiveness and the injury bug have made terrible, terrible wh00pie with this team and forced me to make some changes. Gone are Silent Bob, Jacob Tamme, & the decrepit Austin Collie who have been replaced with Tashard Choice (who’s getting chopped if CJ Spiller winds up playing), Owen Daniels (who will also be starting for me this week and possibly long term unless Olsen continues his good play), & Jerome Simpson. I went for the Cardinals defense but the last place team put a claim in on them. Would’ve been acceptable but they also have the 49ers defense. #DaFuck? I suppose it’s OK because the first two waiver claims for this week went to a defense and a kicker allowing me to scoop up Choice to potentially plug into my starting lineup (Jacquizz: Don’t you DARE have a career game if I sit you for either Choice or Spiller). Plus, I swapped the Bills defense for the Bengals defense which I suppose is a nice consolation prize.

-The Houston Oilers – Week 4 Roster –

QB- Peyton Manning (You finally cracked my starting lineup. Happy? You best not disappoint me)
RB- Tashard Choice (Tentatively)
RB- Trent Richardson (14 points) (Not bad for a rookie RB playing against the Ravens. Would’ve loved another TD though)
WR- Julio Jones
WR- Greg Jennings
WR- Kenny Britt
TE- Owen Daniels (Please, for the love of Jeebus, don’t let me down)
K- Rob Bironas (You cost me four precious points last week with your two missed field goals but I suppose I’ll give you another chance since the Titans offense has seemingly risen from the dead)
DEF- Bengals (You best not let Blaine Gabbert and his strained butt muscle light you up and make me look like a dick bandit for dropping Buffalo’s defense)

Bench- QB Matthew Stafford
Bench- RB Jacquizz Rodgers
Bench- RB Bilal Powell
Bench- RB CJ Spiller
Bench- WR Jerome Simpson
Bench- WR Jeremy Kerley (Oh yeah, I also dropped Andre Roberts for Jeremy Kerley and his special teams upside after he cleared
waivers)
Bench- TE Greg Olsen (Please, for the love of Jeebus, don’t make me look f00lish for playing Owen Daniels over you)

-For the second straight time, I’m going head to head with the team who is in first place entering the week. The team is the Mad Dogs, run by my dad's buddy Arvo who always seems to finish in either the top 4 or the bottom 4 and has won the league twice since I've been in it (2004 & 2007). I can’t find out who he played in Weeks 1 & 2 so I’m not sure what his record is. Eventually the Commish starts posting overall and division records on the homepage. Anywayz, Arvo couldn’t attend the draft this year so his fate was in the hands of a fantasy football n00b who we had to explain the nuances of the game to on the drive up to the draft. Kudos to Chris (the n00b) for putting together a decent squad for his first time ever drafting a team (with help from our little peanut gallery, of course), starting with the decision to protect DeMarco Murray in round 9. As a huge Dallas fan, I’m sure Arvo was OK with this.

-Mad Dogs – Week 4 Roster –

QB- Tony Romo (Round 2) (This was mad early for Romo but, given all the QBs who were protected and taken in the first round <including Ben Roethlisberger>, I suppose I can understand it. Plus, Arvo was happy with the pick because he’s a Dallas fan)
RB- Ray Rice (Round 1 – 3rd overall pick) (12 points) (At least my #1 RB outscored his #1 RB…still a lot of ball to be played but I consider this a good omen)
RB- Demarco Murray (Round 9 – Keeper)
WR- DeSean Jackson (Round 4)
WR- Santonio Holmes (Round 6)
WR- Jonathan Baldwin (Round 15)
TE- Tony Gonzalez (Round 5)
K- Garrett Hartley (Round 13)
DEF- Texans (Round 7)

Bench- QB Alex Smith (Round 10)
Bench- RB Michael Bush (Round 8)
Bench- RB Felix Jones (Round 11) (My reaction to this selection on draft night: “Romo, Murray, AND Felix? Arvo may need new trousers.”)
Bench- RB Daniel Thomas (Round 14)
Bench- WR Hakeem Nicks (Round 3) (I assume he’s going into the starting lineup over Baldwin but I can always dream, right? He is a Dallas fan after all)
Bench- WR Laurent Robinson (Round 12) (Or, as he was announced by Chris: L. Robinson)
Bench- TE Dallas Clark (Round 16) (#DaFuck?)

-Mad Dogs have yet to make a waiver move and are in first place. Seriously?

-I’m one f00lish Trent Richardson benching in Week 2 and one Greg Jennings reversed TD call this past Monday night from being in first place in this league and I already had a week in which I finished in the bottom half of the standings (which I hope and pray is my only bad week). Trent Richardson’s 14-point game put me into first place in the AFC and into second place overall at 315 points entering the weekend. The only team currently ahead of me in the standings after last night is the Mad Dogs at 332 points who got 12 out of Ray Rice. I’m only two points ahead of the third place Pizans so, as you can see, it’s a logjam near the top of the mountain at the moment with a lot of really good teams that can make a serious case as to why they can win it all. Things I hope will happen: Arvo keeps Nicks on his bench, CJ Spiller plays so I don’t have to lose sleep over whether to play Choice or Jizzybaluba (if anyone gets this really, really, really obscure play on a reference from an old TV show, I will personally give you a dollar like for serious), Britt plays through his vagina ankle injury, I beat the Mad Dogs with more points in my starting lineup than on my bench, the injury bug decides to attack somebody else, and my players finally give me that breakout week I’ve been waiting for to vault me back into serious talks about whether or not I can win it all this year.
